After reading the board a few days, there is a lot of talk on stuff that just doesn't matter. Enjoy being undefeated at this point. Maybe this talk is because we cannot complain McCroskey isn't D1, or Eric Williams should be started a PF, because everything is good.

1) Please, no more GMAC posts. He was an above average good college basketball player on the whole. However, he had many clutch moments throughout his career, including his frosh year, which elevates him to even greater status. He was often injured and physically not the greatest but while on the court, played hard. He also graduated six years ago. Enough.

2)Dion. Dion told his coach to last year, got kicked out of practice and was not much of a person during the year. We all respect JB and if JB wanted him gone, then of course many of us did, too. However, he apologized, told JB he was changing then in fact did change. He worked hard at everything - being a great teammate, his game, his body and attitude. Now, of course we all over him. What's not to like. So, no need to rehash who that what about him in June.

3)We have four talented guards. One is a frosh and his time will come, next year. This is what JB wants. Two are above avg college guards now and they bring different skills to the game. There will be time these two guards will dominate, some they might struggle, etc. The fourth is kicking butt now and is getting the most mins and closing each game, so who cares if he doesn't start. Doesn't anyone think it would change the dynamic of the team if he were to suddenly start? What does that do to your 5th yr sen, or 3 yr started?

4)Recruits - JB can recruit Sam Spann and Ethan Cole and still win 20. We will be fine if we get a top 10, or a top 100 that stays 4 yrs. We will continue this success if we land Noel, or whomever, or if we don't. If we don't, we land a top 60 guy that will be great in years 3 and 4, unlike a Noel in yr 1 and the gone. Don't get so nervous about what a 14 year says...

5) Who cares if it's Fair or James, James or Fair. Against diff. teams, different guy will be featured. Either way, both are playing well and a huge piece to the puzzle.

6)Media - who cares what joe fat guy at the austin amateur or podunk paper think if they think we're #1, or #10. Who cares what Katz, or whomever think. Just sit back and watch the wins come in, that's all that matters. If one thinks were #5 and we don't make the final four, then they're right. If we win it all, it's great and who cares. So, it all works out...

There are a few real problems as I see it and they're manageable.

-Kris - stop so much dribbling.
-Staying healthy. Baye staying healthy as he changes the complexion when he cannot go, or goes and cannot jump. A Dion injury would take us of the top shelf but until something like that, enjoy...
-My only problem with this season is that the bar is set so high, I will now be disappointed with less than a F4, whereas the beg. of season, I would have been happy with s16.

Well, I guess Royal has buttoned everything up. Let's turn out the lights until March and save Temery some money. ;)

It's a tiny thing, but I still have a bug up my ass that people still don't realize that Fair and Southerland are not in competition with each other for PT. James almost never plays alongside Joseph, he almost always plays in tandem with CJ. You won't see JB yank CJ and put in James when he makes a mistake, and vice versa. CJs minutes covary primarily with Rak; Dirty's minutes covary with Kris. They are different players playing different positions.
