It is only one day getting up that early. He probably wants them tired so they go to bed early on Thursday.

I think I’m a different species than those of you posting in this thread. 5 am is like Bigfoot to me. I don’t know if it exists because I’ve never seen one.

5am is some time later than "oh dark early" You wanna know what that is? Showing up for a 12-16 hour duty day to fly at 2:45am.

feed the pups. Stretch. Get bottles ready for the 6 month old. Coffee. Orangetheory at 5.

I’m a creature of habit. Have to do the same thing every morning.

I'm a creature of bad habits.

I wish I could wake up and exercise first thing. Maybe in another life.
 
I'll get up at 5:30 to go work out but I am not happy about it. Hardest thing is if I get off my routine and dont go to the gym for a few weeks - so easy to come up with excuses not to get out of bed.

It was definitely not easy at first, but I feel so much better when I work out in the morning rather than put it off until later in the day. I'm not sure if my women's team/practice schedule made me a morning person or vice-versa, but we practice 7am-9am during our season. They tell me because school/work/internships, yada yada yada; its's easier for them to commit to a set schedule for the rest of the day rather than have to work practice in at 4pm. I like to think we're instilling in them balance for when they graduate college.
