Anniversary of the UConn-Cuse Rumble in the Garden

Tough, scrappy kids - I hope that AA brings this attitude & mindset back.
I was thinking kind of the same. JB had such fire. His desire to compete really helped to motivate some very talented players. Tough & scrappy are good descriptors of many of JB's teams & players, including that team. I hope Coach Autry can stoke that fire...

I still get chills thinking of Slim Shady jumping on the scorer’s table.

Single greatest event that I have ever been to. Hands down. Then to win in OT the next night. We were the better team in the final, jut ran out of gas, having played 5 minutes short of 3 games in 2 days.
The Blarney was epic after that game.

i can remember crawling upstairs late into bed and my wife asking me who won ? told her she wouldn't believe it if i told her.

Tomcat, me and a friend of mine were seated in the last row of a lower section, with the walkway right behind us. I still remember people standing waiting for the end of (one of) the OTs. When it was still tied, they had to decide whether to catch the last LIRR train to get home and miss the end of the game or stay and take a car service out to the Island when the game ended. Basketball ruled the night.
As I recall the after party, Canada Dry had a record sales day. ;)

I have no idea where my Six in the city tee-shirt went.
Some PYT used it as a nightshirt and walked out with it. If not true, still go with it.
