I'm going to start posting my 2024 SU Football Preview tomorrow and I always change my Avatar on that occasion. I like referencing TV series from my youth and one I remember is "The Outer Limits":


It was a Twilight Zone clone but a good one. The relation to our present situation is that Fran Brown and his staff have taken over our SU football program and they are going to take it to "The Outer Limits" of college football.

The one Outer Limits episode I remember the most was called "The Zanti Misfits". The government had agreed to rent space to aliens for a penal colony and set up road blocks around the location to keep everybody away. But Bruce Dern doesn't pay attention to road blocks. He finds out that a Zanti is an over-large ant with something like a human face on it. I watched this at the time - I wasn't that little at age 10, but when I went to bed that night, the Zanti misfits were crawling all over my bedroom. Watch it if you dare!
