Another year another disappointing tournament exit (long post to follow)

Funny that you mention RIT, if JeremyCuse ’s info on KD being target for West Genesee are real, RIT’s Shawn Wilkins would be my number 1 target for new assistant. He runs a creative offense that consistently puts up numbers. A lot of two-man plays and getting scores free up front. And as stated, he can recruit Canada as well as anyone this side of the Mississippi River.

Maybe we can land the next Teat or LeClaire if he comes aboard:cool: Its been a while since we’ve had an elite level Canadian player.

While we’re on RIT, their head coach Jake Coon should be another future head coaching candidate to add to the list. He’s still relatively young for a HC and oviously doing great things at RIT (their current record is 20-0). He’s also a Homer, NY native.

Interesting note: another current D1 coach who got his start at RIT is Bill Tierney.

I remember Jake Coon at Nazareth. Just looked him up. RIT Athletics - 2011 Men's Lacrosse Coaching Staff
Wow. He has accomplished a lot. So impressive.

spent all week coaching on how to stop teat . A+. price for ignoring the rest of cornell's attack. sit home and watch the rest of the tourney.

Coon is certainly with an impressive resume. He wins the National Title this year and maybe starts looking to greener pastures? Brown went with D3 Tufts coaches and have kind of gone in a different direction since Tiffany left. Maybe Tufts/Brown was actually more a product of Sean Kirwan’s system?

It’s actually Daly’s system. Kirwan played for Daly at Tufts and brought it to Brown when Tiffany hired him as OC.
