Any chance Kadary leaves?

Marek, Sidibe, Q are definitely gone. I was in the camp that AG would be 1 and done, but who knows at this point.

What do Braswell, JBA and Jesse do?

your scenario wouldn’t shock me.

Kadary/JG3/Buddy/Benny/Transfer

Woody/Anselem/Transfer Guard off the bench

I do like the potential of that team a lot, especially if Joe/Buddy shoot well.

AG to me is the wild card.

Dude no offense, but you’ve been saying Marek has been definitely gone for 3 years lol.

Pretty sure CuseMan4 left open the possibility there.

The one time transfer without sitting out didn’t pass.
Kadary is going nowhere but he better play the most minutes in the back court next season.
He doesn’t need to start but he should be in a lot earlier this year and next.

I'm guessing JB is holding Kadary by telling him he'll start next year.

Again, no inside info, but there is no way Kadary and his camp would be ok with sitting behind JGIII and Buddy again after what's transpired this year.

If it were even a possibility of JB keeping the same guard rotation for next year, I'd tell him to leave and I most assuredly wouldn't be the only one.

The question is would Kadary want to sit a year somewhere else? If he only plays 20mpg next year he will probably get drafted anyway .. why delay your payday by a year if you don’t need to

We may be able to look at MCW and draw comparisons. His athleticism got him drafted high but his career has not quite matched his draft position because of his shooting. How does Kadary's athleticism compare? Is it, along with his other skills, good enough to make a team want to take a chance that his shooting will develop?

Kadary to me as a freshman is much better offensively than MCW was... although he didn’t get that much PT as a freshman

I hope this right.
I don’t believe it till I see it.
Just like I was from Missouri with this year’s team in the preseason.
I need to see it:

If he is waiting for next year their is no reason he won’t do it now.
I actually believe Girard should play more than Buddy now.

Yep. Girard has played noticeably better lately

- Offensive system we're running
- Zone for another year
- Having to not get the minutes you deserve because someone was born with the name Boeheim

I'm not saying he'd go anywhere else, but can you imagine running this year's rotation back when he knows he's on NBA radar and be ok with it?

I'm fully with you that the starters should be Kadary and JGIII.

Unless Buddy is hot, he should run with the second unit (whatever that consists of).

MCW was behind a Senior Jardine and Sophomore we knew was leaving in Waiters.
Him sitting one year behind that isn’t a lot to ask for him. Especially with the team winning and being elite.

I don’t believe Kadary is going to start next year.
JB would do it now. Heck Richmond is only averaging 18 MPG with Buddy back.
Where are the minutes coming from. If Buddy plays better next year why would he play less.

NBA drafts on potential. I do agree potentially Kadary could go somewhere else and thrive in a different system - but any scout watching him, it’s obvious what he can do. Him being at Alabama doesn’t change that, IMO

If Buddy starts at the 3

Alan Griffin?

He’s my wildcard. I think he came here with the intention of playing a year and going to the draft.
He probably wants to leave but he isn’t close to getting drafted right now.

Which is why Kadary’s minutes are I need to see it to believe it.

MCW was a bit raw but good! I'd give KR a slight edge on offensive ability...but MCW proved it under much bigger spotlight than KR has

If there is even a question of the double draft hitting in 2022, I think AG would (and should leave). He'll be 21 in April (I think) and if that's the case, I have to imagine it's at least a decent possibility. He's on the radar of NBA scouts. Maybe he's off the board, but if the double draft hits and he goes in 2022, he's not going to get back on it. Just my 0.02 guess.

No NBA team is thinking he can improve his shot better at Syracuse than with an NBA staff.

Anthony Edwards just went #1, James Wiseman #2 and LaMelo #3.

None of those guys were shooters, unless you call LaMelo's chucking "shooting" in the NBL and at Chino. In fact, you could make the argument that Wiseman had the smoothest stroke out of all of them and he's a center.
So I guess he's gone. Edwards shot almost 30% in college, not great but not terrible.

I'm not saying he's gone. I'm just saying with his size and defensive ability, I think he has size/skills that teams look for. With shooting, teams think they can teach if they like the other attributes enough.

Hopefully he's our starting PG for as long as possible.

The double draft doesn’t affect AG.
He is a second round pick at best in any draft.

If he goes after this year it’s stupid.
Atleast get your degree and play against your brother in college.

I think it’s more probable than not he is back here next year.

I really don't think he came here thinking one and done.

He left a top 25 team where he was the 6th man and got 20mpg and went to a team he knew wouldn’t be ranked as high as the one he left. He was sold on the Eli role which got Eli drafted. I think he was hopeful he would be here 1 year
