Gus Johnson and Charles Davis fawning over Ohio State this past weekend turned me off of Gus Johnson. I used to love Gu-Jo, but since Bill Simmons loved him and made him more popular from his fans I have turned on the Cult of Gus. He tries to make everything overtly exciting when you have to control yourself a little. Sadly Gus will be calling the St. John's-Syracuse basketball game with Bill Raftery this Sunday.

I started hating Gus when FoxSoccer forced him to work soccer. It's absolutely brutal, a total trainwreck, and you can tell he doesn't study the teams or do his homework, so he gets over emotional and yells a lot.
