Buddy, do you know how time works? Joe Montana was the best quarterback in the NFL, but then time happened. Andre had one really good season, and hasn’t been the same since. A 50 yard FG is not easy for a college kicker no matter if it’s in a dome or not. and the time out by Dino was worse, even if andre made the kick Dino saved clemson a timeout and 35 seconds to go down the field and win the game themselves. Dino Babers is clueless.

The way Clemson was playing getting the ball under 30 they probably do nothing. Didn’t have an issue with the timeout. Gotta make that kick. Or go for it and at least extend the game before we miss a kick.

Dino didn’t call time to ice his kicker. Jesus. No doubt he called time to first decide if they wanted to go for it or attempt the FG. Then if they had decided to go for it, what play had the best chance for success.

The timeout should’ve been to decide what play they’re running. to call time out there then kick a FG is idiotic. if you wanted to take 3 run the clock down, then call time, and take 3. he gave clemson so much more time to go down and win it, even if andre had made the FG.
