So gross that UCONN won another title and is a top team. I can't explain why it bothers me so much but I have such a strong feeling of contempt for them. Makes me want to leap out of my skin.

It's like when your little brother finally beats you at something - and then does it 4 more times!

We cannot erase or change the past. But we can learn from our mistakes and improve.

That will not get us ranked or even that close to being ranked. We are nowhere near the top 25 right now (deservedly so), and two wins in a row against Non Top 25 will not vault us up into the top 25. Nor would we deserve to be in the top 25 at that point.

But who cares really. Those wins would be big for helping us to build a resume for the NCAA tournament, which is really all that matters in terms of reasonable goals for this team. Our preseason perception limits us in December top 25 rankings but it will not hurt us in terms of how we are viewed on Selection Sunday (that will be based purely on results over the course of the year)

They’ve been handed at least 2 of those chips as well. The ball always bounces the right way in storrs. It truly is sickening

UConn has not been an AP top 10 team entering conference tournament week since 2009. Yet they have 3 national titles. Its insane.

Maybe if they have a really good regular season they will choke gloriously in the NCAA tournament. Screw this team - have to commend them on delivering when needed - but still screw that team.

They were #10 in the final AP poll entering the tournament last year. Didn't exactly come out of nowhere. And won every game by an average of 20 points.
