Apparently Hunt...

Gotta think the steps to the Mount, would offer more of a challenge no?

Start at Brewster Boland, run up to Mount Olympus (at my last count, that's two staircases, and 255 total steps). Jump down onto the teflon, land on the west side of the Dome. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat. Repeat.

Hunt is going to introduce himself to the world of College Football on 10/5/13. Take notice.
God, I hope his receivers decide to show up for that game. Otherwise his introduction will be extremely low key.

Kobena and Estime I'm looking at you. Needs to start catching some balls. I would love to throw more wideout screens to Clark too.

Use Clark to clear out the under zone and throw screens to Estime and Broyld.

This is going to be just as big a test for McDonald as it is for our WRs.

I truly believe we need to start out attacking - and use the pass to set up our run. It's no secret that SU's running game has not been setting the world on fire.

The team needs to get off to a fast start in this game. It cannot afford to fall behind. If I see run, run, pass sequences for the first two or three series, I'm going to explode.

This could be the day 10/05/2013, that 3 sophs introduce themselves to the world, Terrel Hunt, Ashton Broyld, and John Raymon. I expect their are things on offense, and defense that the coaches have saved for this game.

We used to do those for PT in Army ROTC. There are two variations:

1. straight up and down the stairs
2. up the steps, down the drive to the short steps at Women's building, run back to Archbold - back up the steps.

We would do as many laps as we could in 15 minutes. It was kind of tough.

If the OLine shows up so will the RB's. I worry more about the D, especially the secondary, where I think we are vulnerable.
Agree completely. Despite the perception that last year's defense was really good, it was something like #70 in passing defense. The same problems seem to exist this year and I do think it's poor DB play.

Funny what a little taste of success can do. Even if he was doing this before Wagner, I'm guessing he had a little bit of extra spring in his step.

Did those Mount stairs every day for two years (frosh and soph), kept the freshman 15 from showing up...

That's the key. If that group can't contend with the Clemson receivers it will be the Northwestern game all over again.

Yeah - but in the big games they played great for portions: Louisville, USC - 1st half of Penn State.

We are so aggressive with blitzes, it puts those guys in bad spots sometimes.

I think it will be if our scheme is spot on like vs WVU the last few years.

This isn't last year's team that had a decent push up front. If we have to blitz to get pressure Boyd will kill us. The "kids" will have to play their best game.

I'm hoping for the defense to disguise what they are doing better and make it harder for Boyd to get his reads. The bye week is going to help SU with this.
