Same line at pretty much every book so far.

I do not like this matchup. I know BC’s on a three game skid but I’m nervous having a new Coach go up against that staff. BC’s playing for its life, hopefully Fran keeps us motivated and focused.

Why are we so worried about Cal & BC?

They are near the bottom of the conference standings.

The Stanford loss is FSU bad.

Cal will be a very difficult game for us to win. It's a cross country trip which is inherently difficult. Cal's four losses are by a combined 9 points. They were blowing Miami out and just collapsed at the end. They had Pitt beat on the road but couldn't make a game winning field goal.

So was UNLV and we won, CAL will be no different, we will win. They will be overconfident, just like some of our fans who believe we will lose.

I don't think we will lose. I'm just saying it will be a tough competitive game, just like UNLV was.

And inexplicably went for 2 in the first half. They demolished a good Oregon State. It’s a coin flip, but a game we can win.

If the weather is decent we should handle BC as I dont think they can stop us.
Cal is very good and we will have a tough game. Winnable for sure but we need to bring our A game. Uconn is a 20 point win if we play our game. Miami in the JMA we have a chance.

we have won all the close games except one, Stanford. We've been very good in close games.
You can see how many close games we have played, our point differential for a 6-2 team is pretty small

Can’t downplay the traveling to Cal aspect. B10 teams traveling one direction or the other, cross country, have lost over 90% of the time.

Cal is +13 on turnovers. Basically getting two more turnovers a game than their opponents. And they are still not winning games. They have an opportunistic secondary and a decent quarterback and a good tight end.

I know this is a big if, but if we don’t turn the ball over, I like our chances.

Boston College by the numbers is the least dynamic team in the conference. We have TWICE as many plays over 10 yards as they do.

They do have more 30 yard plays than us and from what I’ve seen is it’s mostly when Castellanos is able to scramble, draw defenders and throw it over the top. We cannot give him time to scramble.

I hate the three man rush with a passion, and this is one quarterback that we cannot do that with. Even if Barron is the spy, Costellanos will allude him more often than he is tackled. We need to stack the line and run blitz, and make him beat us with his arm, without time to scramble.

statistically, on offense and defense there is almost nothing they do better than us. Our B game was enough to beat Virginia Tech at home and NC State on the road. Our B game should be enough, and if we can put together an A game like we did against Georgia Tech, it will be comfortable.

it’s a noon game and 25% of their stadium will be Syracuse.
