Arrogance of the front office and coaching staff cost them a playoff spot.

And the Bears are a traditionally cheap organization.

I wonder if that had something to do with the decision.

Even more unbearable to watch when your paying for it.

But, but, but only QB's that already know Mike Martz' playbook can be super-awesome in that offense.

What does it matter if you know it if you suck balllz? Stupid Bears.

Would they play Martz over McNabb too? He knows that playbook better than anyone.

If you watched McNabb play for Minny this year you would know why nobody signed him. It's over for McNabb. However bad Chicago's QB situation is, they are all currently better than McNabb.

He can't play anymore. Period.

How many Vikings did you watch this year? Have you seen Hanie play?

If that's an honest assessment, lololololololololol. McNabb isn't anything special any more, but he sure as hell isn't Hanie. Ten years from now he'll still be able to wake up, roll himself off his couch weighing all of 350 pounds and be a better NFL QB than Hanie is now.

Saw the Vikings play 3 times with McNabb. Saw him a bunch with Washington last year. He was beyond awful. He can't move. He can't hit a moving target anymore. He was beyond bad in Minny. There were times he was throwing bounce passes on 10 yard curls with nobody around him. He sucked! With all the teams that lost QB's (KC, Chicago, Houston, Rams, Arizona...etc) nobody signed him! Doesn't that tell you something.

Hanie sucks, no doubt. But if I had to roll with one, give me Hanie right now. And its not even close.

McNabb was fine with the Redskins last year. Obviously he became a scapegoat for an offense that still hasn't improved a year later.

He had a great preseason for Minnesota. If anything was beyond awful during the regular season, it was the playcalling. The Vikings don't have a good offensive line or wide receiving corps. McNabb wasn't replaced based on performance. He was replaced because the season was over and they wanted to get experience for Ponder. But the Vikings had leads in most of their early season games, and McNabb wasn't the reason why they blew those leads.

Chicago and Houston were the only realistic choices of the teams you mentioned. He wasn't going to sign with a bad team. And the Chiefs had already signed Orton before McNabb was released anyway. I think the Texans had signed Delhomme by then as well.

McNabb would have worked as a game manager for the Bears. He has the tools to get the job done in a Mike Martz offense.
