The best podcast was with Stephen Bailey and Julian Whigman a few years ago. Some very insightful analysis
He's got the strong Baltimore accent too. Excellent addition to dot com staff.Axe and Javon are the tops imo. Javon is a step up from Emily. Has some interesting opinions and a real football junkie. Their recent practice updates have been great
I’ll never understand people’s problem with Axe. He just has a good podcast. Certainly better than the garbage out of the SB Nation blog. What is it?
Don't say Axe. I can't listen to him and that voice for any length of time.
Locked ON Syracuse feels like a well-intentioned filibuster.
What is actually good?
Maybe it got better, but I quit listening to them a few years ago: about six months after Jon and Dan left TNIAAP. One episode they opened with, like, women’s soccer tournament, couldn’t remember the round, screwed up the score, and didn’t do another take. If they don’t care, then why should we care?Disloyal Idiots is really good. The hosts are well informed and lay the show out well.
I can make a list for you if you wantI’ll never understand people’s problem with Axe. He just has a good podcast. Certainly better than the garbage out of the SB Nation blog.
I mean, a little.I can make a list for you if you want
Javon has zero actual takes. It's really hard to listen to him. Emily wasn't good either, but at least you could tell she was putting effort into her job.Axe and Javon are the tops imo. Will be interesting to listen to the pods once actual football is played. They're basically going on fumes right now with the level of first-hand access.Javon has zero actual takes. It's really hard to listen to him. Emily wasn't good either, but at least you could tell she was putting effort into her job.
He does try very hard I will give him that but after listening to a 25 minute pod cast you realize that without him repeating points and information he already has said that the podcast would have been cut to 12 minutes.Locked On guy just sounds like he's mansplaining every little thing about football. Certainly not an economy of words. I will give him points for dedication and plenty of content. I do enjoy the Locked On ACC Squad shows.
I liked to watch Dino's face drop when Emily was about to ask a question.Javon has zero actual takes. It's really hard to listen to him. Emily wasn't good either, but at least you could tell she was putting effort into her job.
