Big East mini-tournament?

Bring the original Big East back for one small non-conference tournament

I'm curious what you folks think of the idea, and/or anything similar?

Great in theory, but if you can only have one team from each conference, the options are pretty limited. WVU might have to be one of the teams.

Syracuse/Piit/ND/BC-ACC
Villanova/Gtown/St.John’s - Big East
UConn/Cincinnati/Temple- AAC
West Virginia/TCU(remember they were invited and have Dixon now)-Big XII
Rutgers- Big Ten

You could always rotate to start the year and have a Big East Classic.
Rutgers and WVU would be the 4th.

It wouldn't be but a shell of what the Big East was. It would at best be a media promoted fun time.
