I rarely dream about playing basketball, but I did so last night. It was a pick-up game in what seemed to be a high school gym. On the opposing team was Bill Walton, and I chose to guard him, as I Iike playing against big guys. I don't remember a lot about the dream, but I recall boxing him out -- not just a box-out, but I moved him back about five feet. He was surprised.

If you're going to dream, might as well go big. REALLY big.

One of my annual rituals is listening to Bill Walton call a game in Maui to kick off the season. I hope I get to meet him someday.
Go to a Dead and Company show and you’ll meet him, particularly one on the west coast. He’ll be dressed the same as everyone else except he’s about a foot taller.

I tried to play with or against him by hanging out at the court in NW Portland that he occasionally played on. Never worked out but I can vouch that he attended small local concerts that I did, at a local Y, if I remember, Holly Near, etc. Shucks, I wasn't even in your dream. The courts were not far from an entrance to Forest Park. I did get to regularly play against a D-1 starting guard, (not P-5). No way that I could ever ever stop him but I could get off a fair share of my shots. Convincing proof to me that the offensive player always has a big advantage.
