Boeheim will coach tomorrow per Wildhack announcement

I believe this oddly worded statement was intended to optically make it look like Boeheim didn’t make the decision in order to take away second guessing against him. I am sure Boeheim had a lot of influence here and Wildhack ultimately deferred to JB.

Precisely. If I'm a coach, I like that statement. Many people will see through it but many others won't. But you'd have to think people respect working for a guy like that who will take the heat no matter what. Very much appreciate what Wildhack did.

I think Wildhack wanted to clearly own this decision up front. It’s the tail wagging the dog otherwise. Very very strong leadership position from him...whether you agree with the decision or not...it was delivered as it should be.

Every school in America should be envious of the AD we have. This is simply an AD backing our head coach. I for one loved this statement. Now let’s all give JB the love and support he needs and contribute to pray for all those involved.
