Boeheim's Army 2025

Well, here we go again. We keep revisiting the same thing re AW and SU. Some say there may be a line between AW's actions and AA becoming the coach. Re the person in between.

all i know is there seems to be some info on this and other things i need to know about the hoop program, out there.

and somebody better damn leak it to me either in a PM or on this board and i am going to treat it as absolute falucking gospel and hold it against them if it turns out to be not true...and i will then out them on this board in a feeble attempt to embarrass them for giving me false info and hope and embarrassing me as i always pass it on to a multitude of people and now they think i know nothing.

not good.

lets go...SPILL IT!!!

the reality: entrenched sides tell their own story. reality is often somewhere in the middle. at this point, I'd have a hard time believing either side without receipts and documentation.

AW has done a good job controlling the narrative and painting SU as the bad guys. So even if SU is innocent and perfect, it doesn't matter to most fans. And that ultimately hurts the school and program. I still contend if AW cared about the program, he wouldn't have done that and that to me is why I don't trust a word he says. AW seems to care about AW first and foremost, which he is allowed to do. It's his money. But it's gone on long enough that he just needs to shut up and move on.

as always, there are 2 sides to everything and somewhere in the middle lies the truth.

i sit with my needle moving more towards AW's side, because even if there is dirt there making some of things he said as truth...more of his opinion, he doest care if its exposed.

Cuse in this instance cant afford that. any 'dirt' or untruth would be legit and would make the school look bad...they cant have that exposed. in this instance, the dirt most likely will be that they were so damn scared of going on probation a 3rd time and told him to pound rocks. which would sadly mean, they didnt understand that what he was doing, was completely legal.

in other words they were incompetent.

incompetence is very 'dirty' and they will have to find a way to 'cleanse' themselves and get him back. all this he said she said bullshit needs to be swept under the rug, quickly.

thankfully, the season is ending quickly, heres to everyone staying silent, figuring out next steps and then hes back in the Dome for football, after donating to Champion.

I think both sides have warts. For me AW is an attention seeker and he has the money, and had the avenue (SU sports) to feed his ego and build his brand.

SU peeves me in that they pick and choose when they pull out their lily white, holier than thou rosary beads, and act as if they are above something. They don't like the way AW played so lets act better than him, but lets ignore the kangaroo court that LaQunit finally exposed, lets ignore Q and his crap show that would still be going on without an outside investigation. Let's let a near 80 year old PR nightmare hold the hoops program hostage so he and his wife could have the best time ever watching their sons play together for their Dad. Let's watch same coach say a dumb thing at a presser about he will decide when to step down and then the next day (obviously after someone's pants got wadded) they announce he's out and lie about a national search. Let's not even get into women's lax where a pretty clear university policy involving superior and subordinate was rumored/alleged to be happening, but that is okay.

An ex con, publicity seeking millionaire wants to give cash to our programs to boost his ego and visibility - we wash our hands of because that is not the Syracuse way.

I don't know what Weitzman was giving or not what I do know is that the school needs a reality check like you read about.

It has nothing to do with him having a felony conviction. That's not even part of this.
