I'm so sick of the "committed" announcements for anyone going to play anywhere.

Do TBT teams really need to announce that players are "committed"?

I'd prefer if TBT simply said "this player will play on this TBT team because he is being paid $5,000".

Sorry for being grumpy about something that really shouldn't bother me.

First, everyone complained that AG was the coach. Now everyone is complaining that he is not listed as the coach. Bottom line it is not SU bball.

Not sure where you got the idea that I was complaining. I was just pointing out that he was not listed despite it being previously announced that he would be the coach. I couldn’t care less either way.

It is not SU basketball, but I will recognize and know 6 guys on the team vs recognizing and knowing only 2 on the actual Orange when the season begins this Fall. The portal has changed the continuity of SU basketball while BA will always have at least some guys we know and remember. For that reason alone I enjoy watching it.

That's a nice addition. A pure point who hits his free throws to handle pressure and get the ball to Buddy who I think will be as good as player as there is in this tournament.

Who do we think will be in the starting line up?

Gillard, Buddy, Hughes, McCullough, Perkins maybe. Thats a bug team and a good team.

I see Gilyard just signed in Italy. Hopefully that doesn’t preclude him from playing TBT

Of course they are SU basketball players and show me where I said they were not. Those are your words, not mine.

There are 6 players on BA who are former SU players and most assuredly do have ties to SU.

A lot of fans watch a whole NBA summer league game to catch a few minutes of Buddy or many more of Swider. It’s July and I am more than happy to watch 6 former Orange players take AW’s money to play in a glorified rec league game. Nobody is claiming it is vintage SU sports but it’s not a bad way to kill an hour or two in the middle of summer. If others feel differently, they don’t have to watch.
