In fairness he's probably the most powerful kickoff leg we've had in years. Outside of a few that went out of bounds, I can't remember one return all year. Dude was booming it through the end zone every time.

Then why leave?

More $$$ from someone else?

105 scholarships coming. We can have more kickers than the Yankees have bullpen arms.

NFL isn’t drafting ko specialists.

NC state had a decent return. Brady actually had the hit of the game to take the returner out of bounds. Funny story: we hadn’t been to a game in years so we decided to sit in the lower bowl and got 2 seats on 40 yd line and 2 on the 30 really close to the field. Turns out as you get closer to midfield, the crazier the Wolfpack fans get. My teenagers decided they wanted the 40 yard line seats, turns out that may have been a mistake. The pack fans around them were pretty rude and plenty were pretty intoxicated. There was this one very drunk fan who just locked on to Denaburg for heckling, saying rude things like “hey 15, you must really suck cuz you’re not playing” and “wow 15, still on the bench?” After about 10 minutes into the game, my 14 year old turns around to him and says “you do realize he the kicker and that’s why he’s not playing?” Shut him up for a bit until he was thrown out in the second quarter for being really drunk and oddly removing his shirt

Why leave? Could it be he thinks there are better kicking coaches out there?

I understand Cuse wanted to keep Coach Ligs last year, but we were either late to the plate or Minnesota offered more $$.

Likely headed to Minnesota where he can reconnect with Coach Ligashesky.

The value of his kickoffs cannot be overstated.

He’s a really nice young man. I wish him well.
Sure he can kickoff. But I thing we played 6-7 teams who had kids with better legs on kickoffs.

His key was being pretty consistent though on kickoffs

No bad feelings for Brady but….. Guys who can kick it in the endzone are a dime a dozen if you actually watch college football. Even most FCS KO guys are doing it .

I assume you meant “out of the end zone” and you’re not wrong.

But, Brady was the only kicker we had who could do it consistently. He is not irreplaceable.

Let’s see how we do with this aspect of the game in the bowl game. Hopefully we score often and get to see our kickoff team a lot.

Go Orange!

Sort of , most KR guys are signaling Fair Catch even if it’s just a few yards deep ( most )

Most teams only allot one full ride for a PK....his number changed from 15 to 47 in season for some reason. l figured he'd portal when he lost the PK job. Wish him well.
