Bubble Watch - Conf Tourney Saturday (Still Alive)

It does beg the question why ND has had so much success in the ACC compared to their stint in the Big East.
They have had very good, experienced players in their program over the last few years.

No it wouldn't. Don't be silly Dasher. We struggle to get all the high end and we're far more blue blood than ND. College hoops is just different than football. Different powers.
They are still ND. the name is still magic. And they play in a major conference unlike their football team. Let's be clear. In 17 years Brey has taken ND to 3 sweet 16 Do you think that is a good record?

I think they've just had better players. They had 3 players drafted the past 2 drafts. Before that, they had just 3 drafted since 1998. The ACC also isn't as physical as the BE was, which helps them. I think.
Definitely. Good point.

Me too. So, mtsu and cinci won. That's good right?
The only questionable one was Rhode Island. They beat a mediocre team that shouldn't change their resume much, especially if VCU can win tomorrow.

He hasn't been highly successful at ND. 3 sweet 16's in 17 years. We will run Hop out of town if that is his record after 17 years.
It's the now, his recruiting style is going to work these days .

So tomorrow we root for vcu just to be safe. Any other games that matter?

He's struggled in the tourney. How many times in his first 16 years did JB win 2 games? We've had a coach whose greatness was questioned because of perceived lack of tourney results

lol okay Is he going to have veteran players every year? 3 years ago,I think he was 15-17

In his 11 th year he won 5 and He had already been to numerous sweet 16's. I asked a question. At ND, is going to 3 sweet 16 in 17 years good? Yes or No

Anyone know why sometimes posts get "This message is awaiting moderator approval, and is invisible to normal visitors."

No it's underperforming. But he's a good coach, esp offensively

Wow Matt Jones with the onions. That dude stinks offensively, so that was a big surprise.

So, about the chances of making the tournament.

I don't think anyone's saying Brey's better than JB. Do you not think Brey's a good coach?
I don't. and that is where I am coming from. He has in my opinion, under performed at ND. He has done well the last two years+ but 3 sweet 16's in 17 years is bad. And before the last two years it was 1 in 15 years. How he kept his job, I can't imagine.
