Bubble Watch - Conf Tourney Saturday (Still Alive)

If Middle Tennessee St Wins, it is very simple.

7 Teams, 5 Spots

Providence
URI / VCU Loser
Syracuse
USC
Kansas St
Wake Forest
Illinois St

The first out should be Illinois St. That leaves 6 Teams, 5 Spots.
Thanks for all the breakdowns.

I thought Palm took Cal out and has them as first out.

For the board:
Does MTSU get an at-large bid if they lose tonight?
I say no. Just not quite enough there to put them above the Wakes, SUs, K-States of the world

at start of the week i thought they had a decent chance but with some bubble teams winning enough games and teams that lost early in their tourney having enough to beat out mtsu i say no

I think they might. 4-2 vs Top 100 with 2 top 50 wins, top 50 KP, and the loss tonight while bad would be a team right around #100 (so bad loss but avoided a terrible loss)

But no point arguing much more. The game is basically here.

Does 5 spots include or exclude the play in?

Jncuse, let me join others in thanking you for the awesome job you've done with your updates and analysis. Tremendous, as someone would say ;)

Thanks. . But there are also a handful of constant contributors to these threads over the past month that should also be thanked for adding to the quality of the discussion. JDubs, Pearl, Orange Nirvana and other. And many other posters have added value to the discussion in past few weeks -- Chris, Alsacs, and there have been others that I have overlooked.

Didn't read all 20 pages of this thread. Wouldn't it be tough to put Wake in front of us, or our are bad losses worse than theirs?

Absolutely. Thank you all! Your insights are much appreciated as well. What a great and knowledgeable fanbase we have!

What about this Akron/Kent St. game? Akron is the 1 seed in the MAC and is losing at H. If Kent St gets the AB does Akron get an at large? Akron RPI is 53 and KenPom 97.
