In all honesty, it's never over until the Selection Show is over. I'm sure Tulsa fans didn't think they had much of a chance last year at this time. You never know what the committee is going to ultimately decide.

Actually, last year it was over before the Selection Show even started, b/c someone leaked the bracket!

I'm not sure if anyone is referring to me. I have read every post in this thread. I get very emotionally invested in Syracuse sports and am just feeling discouraged. I bleed orange. Just feel like we can't catch a break. Do we have a chance still , sure, but losing confidence.

yeah it's a pretty startling turnaround (I live in MN) - most people around here wanted him gone going into the season - 2 transfers he brought in somehow fixed the entire team chemistry, gave them pieces they were missing, and pretty much saved lil' Ricky's butt

He's a really good coach. I thought his meteoric rise in the coaching ranks was due to nepotism and that definitely played a part. But the guy can really coach. Good for him and the Gophers minus Coyle. That guy can go himself.

I've been keeping an eye on Minny all year. My hope was they'd suck, young Pitino would get canned, and we'd get Isaiah Washington. It wasn't meant to be.

Does a 22 win South Carolina team with wins over SU, Michigan, and Florida deserve to be in over a team like us with 18 wins with wins over Duke, Florida St., Virginia, Miam, Wake, and GT?

I would think not. Yes, we have bad losses but the tournament should be about who you can potentially beat! While we can lose to lots of teams, we have the potential to beat anybody. And despite URI winning today, no way do they deserve to be in over us unless they win the A10.

VCU looks damn good right now early in their game. Fantastic passing, great press, high intensity by them. I'd like to see them smack Rhode Island by 30 tomorrow.

This is a team that plays their game and forces their tempo, JB should watch some VCU tape.
