I see what you're saying - but I just want to protect spots. I'd be nervous that if VCU loses tomorrow, that the A10 will steal multiple bids (URI, Conference Champ).

It's a fair point. But I still prefer Dayton/VCU running the A-10. I would rather give up hopes of 1, and just take 2. The disaster would be Rhode Island winning the semi, and then losing to an outsider in the final.
