Buffalo Bills 2019

2 playoff appearances in 3 years for Sean McD. He drives me crazy at times but I'll give him credit.

I hear you - the ultra-conservatism is really frustrating, but you can tell that his guys love him and will run through walls for him, and more importantly, for each other. The phrase is overused, but he's definitely a strong "leader of men".

He’s learning on the job.

That drive for the last td was balls out. Total opposite from the fg drove. Gotta imagine McD gave Daboll an earful. Or going for it on 4th and 5 from the 35...

He plays the odds a bit too much when he is ahead but other than that I think he is great.

btw I am going to barf if they show another clip of the Steelers being about community... their qb of the last decade is a rapist.

Let's aim higher

Not gonna be able to get to sleep for a little bit, so figured it was appropriate to crack this open for a celebratory drink.

They didn't even do anything that conservative. On two drives with the lead at the end, they tried to throw on 3rd&10 on the 1st. I'd have been fine with an early down throw too but it's not like Singletary wasn't having a decent game. The 2nd was a mandatory 3run spot. God forbid nbc show a replay of the hold when they replay everything else under the sun. At least they didn't take Collinsworth's advice and run a draw on 3rd&goal with 7 minutes left. Seriously Chris? The 4th down on the 1st TD drive was great too, that won the game but the Esiason kicking crowd always ignores those details.

I missed watching games that matter enough to get pissed at the announcers and refs. How many times did Michaels bring up the shanked punt as if it was an eclipse? How about the Steelers recovering about eight fumbles in a row Al. Finally got a break on the 2nd Singletary fumble.

Running Gore on 1st and 2nd and goal following the 2nd White INT, end of the first half, the 2nd to last offensive possession.

To be fair, unless I have the plays mixed up, the 2nd Gore run was actually a trick play: a HB pass, but either the WR didn't get open or Gore just wasn't able to get the throw off.

That and they got to 1st&goal running* and they were on their own 9 at the end of the half* and Singletary got 4yds on 1st down of the 2nd to last possession. I mean c'mon. I'm in like the 92nd percentile of aggression.
*Denotes rushing 1st down despite god awful spots from the ref.
The trick play does need to happen on 1st down not 2nd&long after getting stuffed that's not fooling anyone.

I was thinking the same thing and that he was just too short. Would have had to be a blind throw.
