Buffalo Bills 2019

Looks like a number of school aged kids there...which is AWESOME parenting. And I mean that sincerely. They’ll remember that for the rest of their lives. Sleeping in and missing one day of school won’t kill them.

or make them go to school. Practice for sucking it up later in life going to work hungover, which is the kid version of no sleep.

Yes! Going to class hungover/still drunk is one of the most underrated college skills a kid can have. Just. Show. Up. Make the best of it and crush some dining hall breakfast after and then take a 2-3 hour nap as soon as you’ve got time. But get up and go to class no matter what.

This is madness. Who the hell would schedule an early morning class?

Very true. Agree 100%. Not that I always did early on but definitely did toward the end

My very first semester at Syracuse, I had a 9:30 AM class on Fridays. After that semester, my earliest class up until my final semester was at 1 PM. My last semester, I purposefully scheduled a couple morning classes to try to get myself back into the rhythm of waking up in the morning. Now I literally can't sleep past 7 AM even on the weekends and even if I go out until 3 AM the night before.

Just got back from Cabo. Happened to be watching the game at Cabo Wabo because it had the biggest screen. During the 4th quarter they start setting up the stage and there's a buzz in the building. 30 mins post game watching Sammy Hagar play a set with Jason Bonham on the drums. Unreal couple hours. He plays like 5-6 sets there a year and just happened to be sitting inside the place on one of those days. Go Bills!

That’s awesome!

My buddy just moved to Pittsburgh recently... these are the remains he saw in a parking lot on his way to work Monday morning.

Trying to upload pictures of it but keeps giving me errors that the size is too big. That's what she said?

I honestly don't think he's all that deserving. If anyone on the Bills got snubbed, it was John Brown imo, followed by Edmunds.

Brown was my 1st thought too. Think he has 3 less catches and like 11 less yards than Landry with same TDs, on a team that exceeded expectations largely due to him and with no other "superstars" on the offense.

Julian Edelman didn't make it either. These things are more reputation than anything. Plus half of the players will pull out. I am sure the Bills will get a couple more pro bowlers barring they make the Super Bowl.

I don't really mind Landry's inclusion honestly. Tyreek Hill probably won't hit 1000 yards this year. He's been good when on the field, but not significantly better than Brown and certainly not as deserving as Brown considering the time missed.

There's a few other WRs that you could make a case for as well; Edelman, Sutton, Chark, etc.

In the main NFL thread there was talk about the lopsided records of Philly and Dallas with the ref crew assigned this weekend. A possible conspiracy topic for the Bills fans to investigate for this weekend.

Patriots have lost only 2 home games the last 3 years. Both were reffed by Jerome Boger.
The ref for this game is John Hussey. Buffalo is 0-1 with Hussey this year. They lost to Philly.
Bills had 8 penalties for 57 yards.
He hasn't done a NE game. This crew has called the 3rd least penalties as a crew from the 17 crews.

Last year Buffalo was 1-0 with Hussey they beat Dolphins in Miami. 4 penalties 35 yards.
New England was 1-0 with Hussey they beat KC at home.
2017 Buffalo was 1-1 with Hussey beat NYJ in NJ and lost the wildcard game to Jax.
New England was 1-0 they beat Oakland in Mexico City..

This guy doesn't have much bad history with either team.
Game will come down to how many short fields Josh Allen gives the Patriots.
Buffalo D will shutdown NE offense. New England should shut down Buffalo offense. Whoever makes more turnovers will lose.

If the Bills take care of the ball they will win the game. It was the same case in the Week 4 matchup we just didn’t know it yet.

Throw aways, punts, and field goals will all be winning plays for us. Run the ball, flip the field / win the field position battle, and let the defense do its thing.

The Bills offense and defense are better than they were in week 4. I think the Pats are pretty much the same team and it appears that their best 2 offensive players are hurt. It seems insane saying it but, this is a game the Bills should win.

It all logically makes sense, but I'll believe Allen can limit his turnovers against New England when it actually happens. Hopefully that's Saturday and we have reason to celebrate :)

Punt or KO returns could be big for the Bills this week. Getting closer to breaking one.

I’ve had this floating through my head as well. Roberts was a shoe string away on a KO return last week.

Special teams is where the Patriots have the biggest advantage over pretty much every team.
Slater and Bethel will shut down the punt return game for almost anyone.
Buffalo has to commit to running the game and preventing NE from getting them 3rd and long with the zero blitzes.
Allen has struggled with deep throws. This is a game Belichick will put Gilmore on Brown, Jackson on Beasley and basically see how disciplined Allen will be to throw to RBs. The teams that have succeeded against NE have attacked the OLB in short passes to the RB and by running the ball. NE offense will come down to how well they run block as White will take Edelman out.
