To be fair, unless I have the plays mixed up, the 2nd Gore run was actually a trick play: a HB pass, but either the WR didn't get open or Gore just wasn't able to get the throw off.

It wasn't there which is why Gore ate it. Didnt hate the playcalling but would have preferred that play on 1st down.

I would be sick to my stomach today if they had lost that, between phantom flags, multiple fumbles, and the insane sequence after the White pick. That is the crazy part- Buffalo is far from a finished product and can still get better. Never thought I would say that about a ten win team. As others said above, McDermott has done a great job overhauling the culture, which is almost harder than turning over a roster.

On to New England, if they could find a way to win Saturday...

Sorry for the link to a pay article but the TLDR is that McD prepped the Bills for that 4th quarter Renegade song that the Steelers love to play and they had a plan for how to use the song to their advantage. For those not paying attention, the 40 yard bomb came right after the TO where they played Renegate. That is Belicheat level of detail.

I think the Bills can beat any team in the NFL today. Their biggest problem is their receivers drop too many balls and they don't get enough 10/15 yard plays. Grinding out drives is very very hard to do in the NFL and that's why so many of the Bills drives end in FGs.
I am hoping for a match up w the Texans in the WC. I think the Chiefs are going to start steamrolling people now that Mahomes is getting his legs back after all their injuries.

It was good to see Kroft show up last night. Since we apparently only have two WRs the staff trusts, and they’re both small, would be nice to have Kroft and Knox provide some big targets to potentially add another dimension to the offense this year.

I don’t even think we need A Top 10 talent... if we would’ve just taken one of Knox’s teammates, that would give us the one thing missing from this offense.

I’m sure we address it this offseason, but it’s frustrating seeing the obvious need for a big WR in our 11 personnel with Brown/Beasley.

Wallace has been abysmal this year. That said where the hell is everyone else, terrible job knowing this team struggles offensively especially in the red zone.
