Buffalo Bills 2022 Thread

After the long Moss run, the Bills couldn't get the snap off on time, and burned a timeout. I HATE that so much. Just take the 5 yard delay of game, it's still first down. Coaches are so weird about that.

The timeout is so much more valuable. And of course, bit them at the end.

Both halves had a wasted timeout… in the first half I think mcd called on when the dolphins had the ball and that cost them 3 at the end of the first half.

Guys guys . Tuas “back” seized up on him after his head struck the ground on the Milano innocuous shove . Nothing to see here even though Miami itself called him questionable to return with a head injury at half. As a medical professional , I can tell you that the brain is as much a part of the “back” as your ass.

Why can other teams just punch it in from the 1 without constant issues whereas we need some sort of trickeration or Allen to risk his life to run it in?

I mean I'm pretty sure I watched Tampa Bay struggle to punch it in in their game too. It's not just a Bills thing

Honestly by the end of that game I was happy to just get it over with win or lose as long as Allen didn't get injured behind 3rd stringers. Game will be irrelevant long term.

Bills oline is still one of the weaker areas of the team in my opinion. Allen didn’t have a clean pocket all day long and they aren’t good at 3rd and short.

I’ve heard yesterday specifically they will struggling with center/qb exchange and didn’t want to put Josh under center. But the inability to punch it in from the 1 is long standing.

I was at the game… it had to be 100+ on the field in the sun. I’m not sure how these guys survived a full game. At every stoppage where there was a timeout or injury, Digg was on his knees and getting cold towels and other treatment. He was not right.

There were multiple times when olinmen would just lay on their back during stops, The heat was a huge factor. Props the Miami D for staying on the field that long and not collapsing.

Miami played about a well as they could… Bills played a messy game, missing a bunch of starters and should have won. I think they’ll be okay.

I saw a few mentions of it on twitter, but this game definitely has a lot of 2011 Fitz vs NE energy in reverse. Not really worried about the division but still annoying, less margin of error for the 1seed. The early road schedule is insane.

Chiefs went down to the Colts so it ended up evening out anyway.

Benford fractured hand, sigh...

Hopefully white will be back in next couple of weeks and maybe Benford can play with a cast? Not ideal but who knows. Imagine Jackson's timetable will be at least another few weeks as well but obviously just guessing.

Ravens not going to be easy either

If they can get to the bye at 4-2 it will be fantastic. We should have a lot of people back at full strength by then, to include Tre.

Really need the offense to put the team on its back and score 35 each game the next few weeks.

Benford hand surgery. Out a couple of weeks.

4-2 is fine but I'm really hoping they can beat BAL and KC.

5-1 was my goal before the season started

You're talking one game. Im talking many game. we have major issues with short yardage run plays (not including Allen) and have had this for a few years. Any team can have an issue once in a while. It might be a first world problem since we often play "canadian football" and don't even require a third down, but this crap will bite us in the playoffs if we don't get it corrected. Josh Allen is bad at sneaks by the way. Its not always an advantage being a huge guy trying to sneak the ball from a stand still position. Zero leverage. You're better off with a midget running a sneak.

the KC game is essentially 1.5 games. I don't care how they look now, but come end of the year, it will be the Bills and KC at the top of the ladder vying for the AFC number 1 spot. So whoever wins that game has a huge advantage.
