Buffalo Bills 2022 Thread

Longest pass in 6 years was that last pass to Davis, 69 yards. Right to him too. Unreal.

Classic approach . Make counter accusations

Also, how many points did the Jets score on the drive following the “simultaneous possession” INT by Edmunds?
I have no idea why announcers/officials are so obsessed with this concept and interject it where it obviously doesn't belong. I've never seen them take so long to make a call on a catch/int; they unpiled like it was a fumble. What the ***.

The officials never actually stuck their nose in there to see what happened until well after the action was over. No idea how they could have made a proper call with such little effort

Not to sound like a Pats fan circa the early 2010s buts its amazing how Buffalo can have the #1 offense but almost never draw a pass interference or holding call
Maybe our WRs need to sit with the DBs in meetings. We've got 3 soft TE pushoff calls this year. I don't think we've got 3 DPI's in the last 3 years. Crazy for a league that likes to cheat for the offense.

I need clarification on when the "NY replay officials" can chime in. Is it just at their whim, or are there only certain types of plays that they can involve themselves in?

There was a replay angle of the "simultaneous possession" Edmunds INT which showed Edmunds cradling the ball with his forearm/elbow on the ground.

So that game was...a bit concerning how not flukey it looked. There's no Cody Ford to blame like Jacksonville either.
I'm willing to burn the tape on defense and move on given the injuries (although weren't the Jets supposed to have backups on their OL(?) that's not great)...

Not sure how you explain 17's play other than I jinxed him last week. How the heck does he not see the guy on the first int.
A lot of shade on Davis maybe rightfully so but can we get a play from Knox? Not sure that was a great contract extension (the analytics geeks said that at the time).
Shakir must be not doing something in practice to get more snaps? No chemistry or what? Looked like he was open on the dropped int which I think was intended for Diggs despite Charles Davis' take. Maybe Heinz will help if he gets acclimated.

I predict people will say the Vikings spread is inflated whenever it comes out and that we'll blast them.
Also on the plus side, maybe we can stop the blue on blue nonsense now.

You could definitely see at one point that the Jet had both hands off of the ball as they were going down.

Just got home

Not a good day for the offense.

Think OBJ becomes a bigger priority for the offense. Need a reliable #2 option in the offense, there's a reason Davis never become thee guy the past two years.

Defensively they weren't great but there's room for improvement with Tre, Milano, Poyer, etc. all returning.

Jaquan Johnson clearly didn't take Geometry at The U, because his angles are horribly off.

Offense hasn't cracked 30 in their last 3 games, which is...not good.

The secondary weapons have not been good. Knox is MIA for games at a time, we dont seem to know what to do with Mckenzie and Davis has not been the #2 we thought he would develop into. Beckham or not we need to address WR via FA or the draft. The Knox extension already looks suspect

Think it's the lack of any run game fear that harms the system

They ran for 134 yards today

Granted most of that was Allen but he'll be a factor in the running game in the playoffs.

Need some consistency from the O-line and a reliable #2 option in the passing game

I’m actually getting pretty concerned. Need a 35+ week next Sunday.

does this look like simultaneous possession?

The "Greats" (thinking Ed Reed) would get the "need" here and rip/roll/whatever that ball into their hands.

We have these players instead. Don't mean to be "that" divisive but is what it is...
