Buffalo Bills 2023 Thread

Brown and Dorsey have both been bad, cap issues keep Brown here, I doubt Dorsey is back for year 3
No way can Dorsey be back, the offense has significantly regressed. Significantly.

Jets D is great but there is zero excuse to play as lousy in all facets as we saw tonight.

if we run it 3 times and punt every drive in the 2nd half, we win going away.

Yup, had to manufacture a win for the Jets and we found away. The blame is on Josh but overall this coaching Staff needs to be overhauled. To many guys playing who have zero business being out there and no legit #2 or 3 Wr.

Allen has papered over deficiencies for several years now. when he doesn't play well, they become rather obvious. when he plays poorly, they lose to teams like the jets without rogers, and a 13-3 head start.

Yup, cold hard truth.

Gonna need a multi year rebuild, need to overhaul at least part of the oline, safety spot and Wr. There is some good young D talent and talent at TE and CB seem to be in a good spot at least.

We lose games that have that “feel”. You just know something bad is going to happen.

what's maddening about those INT's today is that we were moving the ball fine for the most part, relatively speaking. It's not like they were shutting us down to the point he just felt the need to throw it up and see what happens. we were doing fine with several solid drives. I don't get it. Same stuff he mysteriously reverted to doing send half of last year. Its like a switch was flipped.

Time to move on from McDermott, just isn't gonna get this team over the hump
You do have to wonder if a defensive expert can't get it done when his QB delivers the most clutch game in history when is he going to?
He gets all this extra credit for his predecessors sucking extra (the Marvin Lewis bump).

The 2nd&15 draw when a FG beats you, I don't even.. That might be an all-timer.

They beat themselves.. sorry Josh gave the Jets the game. He hasn’t been right since the Packs game last year. What’s the excuse this year
Seriously What happened at halftime of that game. He was so dialed in before that. Need to burn something from that game or some sort of ritual or cleanse.

Forgotten in all this is the stupid, cowardly decision to decline the penalty on 3 and 13 where an offensive PI would have made it 3rd and 23 with a potential 53 yard fg looming. You really think they were going to trust Zach attack dropping back and going for the first? We are cowards.

pretty sad we are talking about someone not coming back next year when we are in game ONE of this year.

Josh Allen just needs to stop turning the ball over plain and simple and he has been average at best for 10-12 games. He was just brutal last night. Regressed terribly to sugar rush Josh.

people can blame coaching but Josh is suppose to be a lot better than what he has shown for quite some time.

Seriously? You always decline that to get to 4th down.

Allen was so stunningly bad that I wonder if he was concussed by one of those unnecessary hits he chose to take.

You do? You always concede 3 points to a terrible Qb who is just as likely to take a sack or turn it over as do anything positive ? This isn’t Patrick mahommes or burrow who you are afraid of giving the extra down to regardless of distance .

The handoffs to a stationary RB 6 yards behind the line of scrimmage need to be obliterated from the playbook immediately.

Works in Tecmo

I've been saying it since the moment KC scored to win that playoff game - the Bills window to win a Super Bowl closed when their genius defensive coordinator couldn't stop KC with 13 seconds left. That was their best chance to win a Super Bowl. This roster is not championship caliber. It's not even AFC Championship Game caliber. The offensive line is atrocious, they still do not have a WR2, they are still completely incapable of stopping the run and they have a QB who is not a smart football player and seems to have regressed.

Unfortunately, there are too many other teams in the AFC that are at or above the Bills' level: KC, Miami, Cincinnati, Jacksonville, Baltimore, Los Angeles and maybe even the Browns at this point. Hell, we've lost two games to the Zach Wilson-led Jets in the last two years. Brutal.
