I would never trade in a Final Four run because they're so rare, so I'm happy about 2016 obviously.

But I am 100% convinced that stumbling into the tourney in 2018 and going on that miracle Sweet 16 run hurt our program more in the long run than it helped. It created this illusion that we were OK when in reality the rot was getting worse and worse.

We missed the tourney in 2017. Perhaps if we miss it again in 2018 JB gets nudged into retirement.
