Might be a little awkward at home if he commits to Uconn and Dad finds out the Crystal Ball people were told before him.
Is he known for it, or is suspected that he does? Just clarifying. Not for nothing - but Hurley is known for pumping “news” to the recruiting sites to try and create momentum.
Personally I have only heard the part about him drumming up hype for recruits on this board. He does have a cordial relationship with many of the national CBB analysts but not so much with the recruiting guys. One example is when Jake Weingarten (and others) reported that Dylan Cardwell was on UConn’s campus for a visit which actually had been cancelled. They looked like absolute fools. If Hurley was using these guys, he would definitely let them know of information that affected their credibility. Is he known for it, or is suspected that he does? Just clarifying.

I’ve worked with numerous college basketball coaches who have very interesting stories about him. I’ll leave it at that.
That's how I interpreted it.Is the white claw ad underneath at all indicative of how meth balls are predicted?
This is one of the most ridiculous takes I keep hearing over and over. Very embarrassing that some people in our fanbase use this as an excuse and actually believe it’s a thing…Not for nothing - but Hurley is known for pumping “news” to the recruiting sites to try and create momentum.
JackBauer44 doesn’t make stuff up. If you choose not to believe it, that’s up to you. This is one of the most ridiculous takes I keep hearing over and over. Very embarrassing that some people in our fanbase use this as an excuse and actually believe it’s a thing…

Can’t tell if you’re joking or not.JackBauer44 doesn’t make stuff up. If you choose not to believe it, that’s up to you.
A fan just like you? Or are we in different social classes?Who are you?
I guess there’s no fooling you. So, you can’t conceive of someone manipulating the media to create a narrative? Never been done? You’d have to be an 8 year old to believe it couldn’t be true. Can’t tell if you’re joking or not.
But it’s not about credibility or anything. It’s about using common sense a 10 year old would have to figure out this makes no logical sense at all.
All warfare is class warfare.A fan just like you? Or are we in different social classes?
So just want to get this down in words. You’re saying recruits commit to UConn because Hurley lies to media and says they really like the school and will commit soon. In turn, that brainwashes the recruit into thinking they actually like the school (and forget about the fact that the coach is lying) and then they commit.I guess there’s no fooling you. Wow, is that how you interpreted that?So just want to get this down in words. Or maybe they just don’t want to play in a college zone defense and an offense that doesn’t let the center touch the ball.
But you’re right, the first one has gotta be the reason they’re beating us for recruits…
Yes actually, but please explain it to me like I’m 8 years old, I must be missing somethingWow, is that how you interpreted that?
