I assume we offered Lampkin a decent amount to lock in as early as he did. I’m also sure the Kadary number was fairly competitive. We never spent anything on Lafeww.

Why we can’t combine all of that and throw it at 1 high level guy?

I don't think you can tamper with a player who hasn't officially signed or enrolled in a school.

No but there is this young coach from Holy Cross who just rented a car for a friend of a friend. And another guy that I knows knew someone who saw a kid that claimed to be his son and they said they are coming for sure to Syracuse

He had 1 winning season in 8 years and my argument doesn’t make sense wildhack kept him around to long… I’m saying if you have 2-3 bad season in a row no program keeps your around after that

I have no idea but I would just guess and say it's too early for that. I might reach out to the ACC and have them instruct SMU that schools in this league don't do that to fellow conference members. It's B.S. of course but it might scare SMU in to backing off. Worth a try.

After giving him an extension which everyone would have done, and to suggest otherwise is not being honest, we were stuck. We couldn't afford to fire him before we did.

We have been to three bowl games under Wildhack, 2018, 2022, and 2023.

It was 7-6 and he wanted to move on but couldn't because of the 7 wins.
