His confidence will run off on his teammates.
Exactly
His confidence will run off on his teammates.
Who knows how next year will turn out, but what I'm most excited about is a guy like Lampkin who is clearly coming in to excel at team ball. That's his mindset. Unlike a certain PG we've had before, Eddie's desire to be elite directly involves helping others be more successful. You have to think that this kind of unselfish ball will rub off on others (at least that's the hope). This is where we "could" be a pretty good team and beat other squads with more talent (looking at you dook).
I am always a bit curious when someone says people should play the game the way it’s intended. Well here is the basketball was intended to be played: Dr. James Naismith's Original 13 Rules of Basketball - USA BasketballIt’s a simple game if you are willing to play it the way it’s intended.

Not very close to the game we know today.
The same thing about playing football in the elements, the way it’s intended to be played. I would wager that had indoor, climate controlled, football sized fields with seating been a thing when football was invented, there would have been a lot of consideration to making it an indoor sport.
I’m not sure what kind of locker room guy he’ll be, it’s still early. Right now the younger and new guys are watching what he says and does on and off the court.
They aren’t living in a bubble so if we know he got the bag you can bet they know. I doubt they care how it went down but they know a Texas team wanted him bad and Autry wanted him more which says something.
Eddie’s been in the tourney twice now and played a lot of games. We really didn’t have a real leader on the team but based on what I’m hearing Big Eddie is ready to take on the job.
The way it ought to be played would work as well.Well it’s a misnomer to point that far back to be fair. It’s evolved over the years so let’s say played to how success is achieved today to be more accurate
He also seems to know that the more you win and the farther you go in March, the better your personal chances are. (Exhibit A: Malachi Richardson)With all of what is being said, including comments that I've made about Eddie wanting to play team ball, I'm also not saying he's any less "selfish" than others. I don't think that's the case. I think most young guys, particularly in today's game, are quite selfish in terms of what they're looking to accomplish (i.e. playing time, preparing themselves for pro ball, NIL dollars, etc.). The key is finding guys who's goals align with what best serves the team. That's the big difference between a guy like Lampkin and our former PG. Eddie knows that his ticket to the nba is through elite playmaking (helping other guys be successful).
Out of the goodness of his heart
The kind of guy that doesn't wear a hair net?Sheesh what kind of guy did we bring in here….

He said he was "pass first"
Looks like he's passing the mashed potatoes.
You need to do something for your NIL money that happens off the court.
Well done fog. You always seem to catch the important things. The kind of guy that doesn't wear a hair net?

I would imagine this is part of Eddie's NIL deal.
+ it's just a good PR move, considering how these last few weeks went down. You need to do something for your NIL money that happens off the court.

Yes, seems like Sam is serving as a pseudo PR guy for him right now. Looks like they are going to be partners on some stuff.+ it's just a good PR move, considering how these last few weeks went down.
