Well, we have a pile of money this time. Unlike last year. And usually, money talks. Will we get top of the market guys, probably not. But we can get good kids. I have heard of one kid already. And he is perfect. He has some strengths that people will love. He also has some weaknesses that people will hate. Perfect.

I believe I am an optimist. While I don't believe in Red's coaching acumen, I do believe he understands the level of player that is required to make up for that lack of coaching, also the quantity of players required. We know we have deeper pockets this year and possibly get the players required to obtain an NCAA Tournament Invitation. But, that puts off us getting a good coach. So, what the hell are we supposed to root for. The Melo effect with NIL may actually accomplish mediocrity rather than excellence.

He was low hanging fruit. Hire his coach, he is in the bag...oops...he's gone. It sounds like we have a bag and we have a GM, let's see if Red can close the deal on worthy players.

It's probably unfair since I haven't watched any of his games this year, but Dickinson yesterday looked absolutely lost. For somebody who got the big $$ he looked totally disinterested and was completely outplayed. One game doesn't define him, but it was underwhelming to say the least.

I was pretty anti-Leffew (at least in terms of considering him as our starting PG) but to be fair to him, he was the 6th man for an NCAA tournament team this year and was 0.2 points away from being their #3 scorer.
