I think the hope is he can return to his South Dakota St form (13 pt, 7 rb, 1.6 blocks a game). As a backup could be decent…puzzling decision LY to transfer to be the 3rd C at UCLA (except for chasing the $$$).3 points and 2 rebounds in 10 minutes per game.
This place is funny.
If he’s a backup that’s fine…I think the hope is he can return to his South Dakota St form (13 pt, 7 rb, 1.6 blocks a game). As a backup could be decent…puzzling decision LY to transfer to be the 3rd C at UCLA (except for chasing the $$$).
SD ST is a lower level though. Unlikely to get that production.I think the hope is he can return to his South Dakota St form (13 pt, 7 rb, 1.6 blocks a game). As a backup could be decent…puzzling decision LY to transfer to be the 3rd C at UCLA (except for chasing the $$$).
I, for one, am pretty excited to see how Cabiles + Mario & Salvo’s enhances his physique while he’s under the tutelage of renowned big man guru Allen Griffin. There's no doubt with our excellent coaching and proven ability to help players improve year over year that this guy is about to unlock has potential for Syracuse in 2025-2026
Who’s the Bonaventue player you’re talking about? For comparison, St. Bonaventure brought in a kid who averaged more points, rebounds and minutes played in the same league to start at center for them. If he’s starting at C for SU, this program is more broken than I thought.

I believe he’s referring to Frank Mitchell from Minnesota. Not in the same league as he said but that’s the only P4 transfer i’ve heard of for the Bonnies.Who’s the Bonaventue player you’re talking about?

UCLA and Minnesota are both in the Big 10.I believe he’s referring to Frank Mitchell from Minnesota. Not in the same league as he said but that’s the only P4 transfer i’ve heard of for the Bonnies.
Who is the 2nd piece right now? We have no other centersNice pickup. The center position should be a a 3 way split. We got two pieces. Pickup a third big that can give some minutes and we’re set in the front court.
It’s all about the guards this year.
If this is the case, which I have no reason to doubt you, then he’s the starting C. Can’t imagine they’d sink another $1M+ into the C position when they need a PG, SF, and other pieces still.Heard we got him for $700k. Prices for players has gone crazy since schools are able to pay.
Here we go!
I saw him the other night and he is an impressive young man.
7'3 arm length. 44 Vertical. Your answer is yes. What am I missing? He’s averaged a block a game for his career to this point and wasn’t a major shot blocker at SDSU.
Definitely better than what we’ve had in that regard but is he really a big time shot blocking presence, especially at 6’9”? I love the athleticism so that should help.
