Yes, in my head I was thinking he was coming from Kansas for some reason.UCLA and Minnesota are both in the Big 10.

I posted this on the recruiting forum. Saw him in person and William is physically an identical twin to Etan.Love this pickup. Athletic, physical, tough and plays hard and is 6’9”. You don’t get this from someone coming out of high school. He looks like a better Jeremy McNeil. I read yesterday his injury set him back last year at UCLA and he was never able to get back into the rotation. He’s coming from a Power Four school so he knows what to expect. These are the kind of guys that have just beat us up over the years. We just got much better defensively. He’s one piece, he’s not the savior. This is an example of Kline doing his homework. It’s funny that he already visited and nothing was known about it. Red does like to keep things quiet. I would like to get Cronin’s take on the kid.
The Jeremy McNeil reference is interesting to me. He was one of the most enigmatic players for me. At times you'd hardly know he was on the court. Other times to he looked like Dwight Howard. His performances against Okie State and a loaded Georgia Tech team in 2003 were incredible to watch. He could flat out dominate the paint when he was fully engaged. Remains to be seen if this kid has that kind of up side.Love this pickup. Athletic, physical, tough and plays hard and is 6’9”. You don’t get this from someone coming out of high school. Agree. I love this pickup. Honestly I’m fine with just defense down low. We got destroyed over and over inside. We needed to fix that. we’re not building the offense around him like we did with Eddie last year. Seems like Red learned his lesson and is going back to his original style and approach.Love this pickup. Athletic, physical, tough and plays hard and is 6’9”. So it appears that Kyle started off the season strong at UCLA, got injured, and never fully made it back into the rotation except for spot duty after he got “healthy”. At this point I hope he’s healthy if this is the 5 we are going with because we’ve taken way too many guys who never get healthy in recent years.
I don't care how much he scores3 points and 2 rebounds in 10 minutes per game.
This place is funny.
Yeah, 12 minutes per game is like playing special teams only at Georgia, right?Meeks didn’t “come out of nowhere”. He got playing time for Georgia, a national championship team. This guy couldn’t get more than 12 minutes a game on a middle of the road team.
This is how it's going to go in the portal. Gotta find undervaluedInteresting. Given that info, I wonder if this is a Kline find. A kid we identified who's production was low that we could land less expensively, who has the capability of producing "more" than he did at UCLA.
In 2023 Meeks had 1 catch for 23 yards before transfer to Syracuse.Meeks didn’t “come out of nowhere”. He got playing time for Georgia, a national championship team. This guy couldn’t get more than 12 minutes a game on a middle of the road team.
