He definitely needs more help recruiting...
Our coaches are on the US Olympic staff. You do realize Kentucky already gets 5 five stars per year, right? They can only take so many players in each class, it will be more of the same but I don't think it makes their recruiting any better because they are number 1 or 2 every year anyway.
Once again, you can only take so many kids in a class. You do know we can't recruit the players on the US Olympic team, right?
Cal will have access to even more kids now, and probably during periods where the rest of college coaches can't even talk to them.

Agree with CuseFaninVT - This gives Cal even more access to even more top players. Yeah he can only take 4/5/6 players per class, but this lets him evaluate them for longer, more facetime, more opportunity to put on his "show" and get close with the parents. More opportunity to bring John Wall, Anthony Davis, Boogie Cousins, LeBron, etc. around these kids to sell UK to them. Big advantage.Once again, you can only take so many kids in a class.
My question would be--does he have a say in who is selected? Because that would be how he could manipulate the system to either get his soon to be players or guys he wants to recruit / interact with on the team.
And also, that he might be able to begin coaching guys committed to UK earlier by having them on the squad [a la John Thompson with Alonzo Mourning in '88].
This mean he won't be coaching the Dominican national team anymore? lol
