Don't forget the coaches:. Faith without evidence IBLet me see if I can do this right, in the portal Fran needs two running backs, whole new defensive line, a linebacker, safeties, two back up qb’s, a pass catching TE, and a whole new starting offensive line

Lots of gaps to fill for sure but it can’t get any worse than last year one would thinkDon't forget the coaches:. Faith without evidence IB![]()
If Fran brings in a whole new OL, we will stink again. The line we had was big enough, but not strong enough. Their unit cohesion was not good, a whole new line would not be able to develop that cohesion by next season. Our best hope is to hit S&C hard, coach these players to develope as a unit, and fill in at position as needed with portals.Let me see if I can do this right, in the portal Fran needs two running backs, whole new defensive line, a linebacker, safeties, two back up qb’s, a pass catching TE, and a whole new starting offensive line
He and the staff are in on some solid pieces. Very few teams are going to fill all of their needs with ready made players. I think we are going to have a dynamic O as I feel very good about Steve's return.Lots of gaps to fill for sure but it can’t get any worse than last year one would think

I think Bryon will start next year. With another year to get his body right, I believe he’ll be a great piece of this offensive line.Let me see if I can do this right, in the portal Fran needs two running backs, whole new defensive line, a linebacker, safeties, two back up qb’s, a pass catching TE, and a whole new starting offensive line
Three of our starting offensive linemen from last year graduated, so there’s already going to be a lack of cohesion anyway. If Fran brings in a whole new OL, we will stink again. Yeah, I was wondering if this was going to feel like NLI signing day. We know there's a window, but so much is going on before the window opens. There are reasons guys post their "intent" to enter the portal before the window opens.I figure most deals are being worked out now. Portal opens the 2nd. Fran expects all players to begin workouts the 10th and classes start the 12th. No real time to visit multiple schools. Seems like once the portal opens we will see very quick commitments.
I feel because how the season went a lot of players got reps on the Oline. The only senior start that seemed consistent was Weatherspoon and even had snaps taken by younger players. Collins and Ferguson were injured for multiple games during the season. Cruz, Washington, Beltran, Mack Pringle saw a lot of snaps. Wasn’t always the best but they got experience that should help going into next season.Three of our starting offensive linemen from last year graduated, so there’s already going to be a lack of cohesion anyway.
Or back to class...Alot of you need to

I believe player like Cooper and Jojo White will push for playing time and jump these older players on the starting OL but I still believe we need some more talent on the offensive line.I feel because how the season went a lot of players got reps on the Oline. And...new OL coach will mean new blocking schemes and reemphasis on fundamentals and techniques to fit that scheme. Improving the run game will be high on the list. So, all the OL will be in a similar position with respect to meshing with the new OL coach.Three of our starting offensive linemen from last year graduated, so there’s already going to be a lack of cohesion anyway.
