So do I. The only reason for conference pride is if it can (1) help recruiting or (2) help conference teams with preseason rankings the next year. In this case, we are recruiting against the Big East, so we do not want to appear strong. Rather, we want the ACC to look strong in the bowls. As for the rankings, I do not think it is going to matter and again, we want the BE to look weak as I hope our current recruiting his focused on the benefits of the ACC as opposed to the BE.
