I just have a difficult time wrapping my head around how anyone could feel incredulity about his dismissal. There isn't a media venue that isn't unilaterally demanding his head--even those connected to Penn State in the sports media. Who the were these misinformed clowns at the press conference?

Christ--I'm listening to Penn State alum / Paterno apologist Matt Millen right now, and even he gets it [paraphrasing]: "This is a sad day, but it is a matter of what's best for the university, not a football based decision."

Penn State board is melting down with calls for the BOT to step down and saying that they will vote them out for being "cowards" and "caving to the national media". What complete scumbags. My son will never step foot anywhere near that campus ever.
