I have been impressed with Cooney's improvement this year... he is finally enjoying the results of his hard work.

Cooney is going to have some ups and downs--that's what happens with young players.

But its pretty clear that posters who complained that he was a DIII player, couldn't do anything but shoot, wasn't a good enough shooter, was a liability as a defender, etc. were out of their minds.

Time to eat crow.

It usually takes a player a little while to figure out how to contribute in other areas when they aren't doing the thing they do best, but Cooney's figured that out. I'm ecstatic that he's improved so much and having such a big impact.

Also, props to Rak. I don't know about the rest of you but he was the guy I wanted on the floor.
