My logic is that the kid has not lost a shred of confidence in himself, and is hungry to lead this team next year. That’s all part of player development, and he is on schedule to be an excellent player for this program.

The young man seems fine and motivated. Not all 19 year olds have to be coddled.

It’s college basketball, where your team changes drastically from year to year and you can never have anyone for more than 4 years. Of course it’s about the short term. Anything else would be moronic.

Jalen won’t be improved next year? Noted. When he is, you can stop with this one right?

Neither. Which was the problem. That was something Carey needed to be able to do, if he was to be a contributor.

the 1st half of the season he played 18,15,38,36,18,15,7,17,23,9,10,19,11,5,12. that's not 2.
