In the Orlando Sentinel's list of the top 60 area football players, 36 lists his school as "likely lacrosse".

Is SU in the mix for this player out of Lake Highland Prep?

I'd imagine he's a heck of a player.

The Cuse as with most if not all the top 10-20 schools fill their classes two to three years in advance nowadays. Casey will be signing with BU in April. He was as high as 22 in the top 60 until it became obvious he prefered to play lax. Did not start playing lacrosse until spring of his 9th grade year.

As far as lax started as a sophmore on state championship team, competed in the Under Armour All American event last summer. And yes he is a H-ll of an athlete.

Cool. It's too bad he blossomed a little late to get a serious look from the Cuse. That type of athlete is just what we need.

I am a former Syracusan, now living in Orlando. The Highlanders have a heck of a program. If they were not on the other side of town, I'd send my kid there. What is the secret to their success?
