Challenge: state a positive from SU in NYC this week

I budgeted out the 3 day weekend in NYC in the euphoria of both teams being top 15, and came dangerously close to pulling the trigger. The one saving grace of the weekend for me is that I didn’t blow thousands of dollars being this miserable.

I've matured enough that all my remotes survived the weekend.
My remote definitely didn't survive Butler 2010. And i may have accidentally put a dent in my TV screen during the TCU game last year that we ultimately won. But I haven't destroyed any personal property because of SU since!

We brought the inability to cope with snowfall to the Metro area.

Positives? They weren't competitive the entirety of the weekend.

I don’t feel like either the basketball team or the football team is headed in the wrong direction after a horrible weekend with 3 losses.

Bumps in the road. We will be OK.

I saw a fabulous production of "A Chorus Line" at NYC's City Center on Wednesday night, and had a great dinner with friends at Spark's Steak House on Friday night. By themselves (if everything else is ignored), it was a good NYC weekend.
