Well done Cuse! Onward.
The win against Wake reminds me in some ways of the win against CMU. Apply the 24 hour rule and get back to the lab. I like HCSS highlighting the way some of the guys study the game and have favorite players that they use as models for study and for learning. We've seen the potential with this team, and if they can continue to soak in their assignments and develop better understanding of situations they can gradually raise that football IQ. That kind of development leads to more consistency which creates more opportunities for big plays in all 3 phases. Consistency shows up well on the film too.
SU has quality depth at the QB position! Let's feel good about that for a while. I trust coach Lester as a former quality QB himself and a successful coach to guide these guys and set all of them up for success. One thing I've noticed so far is that no matter who is taking snaps Lester will hold them accountable when they make mistakes.
Clemson has one of the best defenses in the country on 3rd down. I'm very excited to see the SU game plan.
The defense showed up and took care of business! Now is a great time to dive deep and iron out even more kinks. The Clemson game is a challenge but also a great opportunity to shine. The eye work and the tackling will be important as usual. I'd like to see #8 step up and play really well.
Go Cuse!!
