Matt Park: Out for the time being.
Matt Park: Out for the time being.
Feel bad for Westry. Really liked him as a HS prospect, and was excited that he transferred in.
Injuries, and other off-court factors, seem like they'll prevent him from ever coming close to actualizing his potential.
Wouldn't remotely be surprised to see him transfer out after this season.
What could have been.
it's Not Red's Fault™Has to go. I don't know what NIL he's getting, but it has to stop and be re-allocated.
Was half surprised he came back this year, but roster management doesn't seem to be one of our strong suits.
Exactly. I'm not even sure what transfer options he would have. Feel horrible for him, but doesn't seem like there would be a huge demand for someone who is never healthy, even in low D-1Apparently, nothing.
Because he just cannot get and stay healthy.
The greatest ability is - availability.
And he has zero.

I mean... I'd wonder why I wasn't given more of a shot.He gone
go right ahead!I was going to delete this.
But then I decided to let everyone know who you are.
Stop. He has continuing knee issues and because of limitations in his quickness he has no confidence. Can’t beat his defender - as was obvious in the few minutes he had in a couple of games.I was going to comment that there has to be more going on with Westry than physical injuries. If he’s dealing with any kind of mental health issue, I truly hope he’s getting the professional help he needs and deserves, and that he gets unconditional support from ALL Cuse fans during this time. While there are certainly many benefits to being a D1 high major basketball player (specifically financial), there also comes with it a great deal of pressure that can be tough for anyone to deal with, let alone a young college kid.
That’s an extreme assumption without any evidence. Shameful post. By all accounts Chance is a good kid that’s just can’t overcome significant injuries. It’s extremely unfortunate but it happens.I was going to comment that there has to be more going on with Westry than physical injuries. He will go down as the missing man in SU basketball lore.
I think his Mom died a couple years agoPoor kid. He’s a good kid that’s worked hard to get back. Maybe misremembering but didn’t his mom or someone close to him die that shook him pretty good?
