Who are #3 & #13? Impressed!
#3 is Terry Larrier (VCU commit) and #13 is Cheick Diallo (uncommited '15, has Cuse offer).
Who are #3 & #13? Impressed!
There's a new standard at the Cuse...lollygaggers will not be allowed:Here goes a portion of Biancardi's response for McCullough's drop in the rankings.
"When we watched him in the summer and fall there were games he was dominating with his scoring, rebounding and shot-blocking skills.
But there were games he would go for stretches and not produce or just show flashes of his ability. There is no denying his tremendous upside, but his lack of consistency and red flags, along with others playing well, are the main reasons for his drop. He is still in elite company in the top 30, with the chance to rise based on his work at IMG."
Pretty much the response I expected. McCullough is a terrific talent and will be a very good player for us, but he did himself no favors for his stock and rankings over the past 10 months. 29 is still pretty low though but hey SU staff evaluations-------->ESPN.
Hopefully he uses those guy's words as motivation! Here goes a portion of Biancardi's response for McCullough's drop in the rankings.

That's what I'm hoping as well. Personally I think he was just bored with the same old routine during the circuit and just wishes that he was able to reclassify early as he had hoped.Hopefully he uses those guy's words as motivation!
Definitely get this sense from following him on twitter. That's what I'm hoping as well. Personally I think he was just bored with the same old routine during the circuit and just wishes that he was able to reclassify early as he had hoped.

I'm not sure if he'll score that many per game, but I do expect him to have a season like we're seeing from Grant this year. Lots of dunks and ridiculous athleticism. He can handle the ball a bit and has a decent shot from mid-range. I truly believe Roberson will have that Sophomore leap as well, with BJ being the long range specialist like Southerland. So we'll reload at the wings again even if we do lose Grant to the Association after this season.
He didn't sign with Kentucky. Thats all those pin heads know is only 5 stars go to JC's clubs first, maybe we over rated him?Francis, do you think Chris dropping this much in the ranking is justified? What about his game caused this big of a drop off if any?

Aldridge's game was very limited to just the inside in college. It's really amazing how much he has improved overall with his game in the Association. CMac is way more the athlete and has the ability to take defenders off the bounce inside. I think just as we see with Grant's ability to go out and in will be the same thing with CMac. Donte couldn't dribble which limited his game very much. Perry Jones from Baylor is the comparison some like to throw at CMac, but I think he'll be more motivated and have better production than Jones in college. He seems like way more of a long-strider than Grant/DGreene and nowhere near as nimble. I know he's a bit taller. What about a LaMarcus Aldridge type when he arrived at Texas?

CMac's play at the Elite 24 hurt him. He was very passive and was content to just stand out on the perimeter and mostly watch the action. That's the game where Whitehead was MOP and scored 27. You have to be aggressive in all star game settings and be a little bit of a ball hog to impress the recruiting services.CMac being dropped to 29th is an absolute joke. Kid is no doubt a top 10 talent in his class. With that said, unfortunately he did everything that was a no no in order for his ranking and stock to drop for the scouts. Such as half assin it in major events and getting kicked out of a major prep b-ball school. IMG is very good for his development, but playing on the post grad squad made it difficult for him to be showcased in national events and I doubt any scouts have seen him this season. It's no biggie though, because ESPN had about 5-6 other PG's rated higher than Ennis and we can see how laughable that is now. Hopefully he takes this as a chip on his shoulder and is ready to kick butt next season.
If Whitehead was on his team I'm not surprised he stood outside because Whitehead wasn't passing him the ball no matter what.CMac's play at the Elite 24 hurt him. "not even top 25... dude sucks"@AdamZagoria
2014 Syracuse signee @_CM5 went for 26 pts, 10 rebs and 4 blks in IMG's win tonight over Faith Baptist
I saw on twitter that one of those mixtape guys was going to the game. So we should have some highlights.
He doesn't need to be aggressive in an All Star game to impress scouts where the guards hardly pass the rock. He needs to be himself and play to the best of his abilities. Trust me the scouts saw plenty of CMac during the HS/AAU/Camp circuit to fully evaluate him. Unfortunately the consensus among most scouts last spring/summer was the same as Biancardi, with CMac being very inconsistent and uninspired with his play. If scouts are making evaluations based off All Star games then I don't even know what to say.CMac's play at the Elite 24 hurt him. this kid is perfect fit for uslol ranked #29 by dippy and company
Kid's a monster, going to thrive. Let them "unhype" him as much as they want. Seems to be to our benefit lately.
