I agree. Next year will definitely be a Top 25/Sweet 16/maybe Elite Eight type season, but 2017-18 (as long as Mal and Lydon don't decide to jump as sophs) could be our next shot at a #1 seed/Final Four favorite. We will be stacked.

What in god's name makes you think one or both of those kids will stay 3 years? Fantasy-land. 2017-18 will make or break on any studs we can reel in.

I think there's reason to believe Lydon might stay for a 3rd year. Malachi likely not.

Even so, we should be right back on track next year after this brief hiatus.
