Cisco possibly out for the season???

I'm sorry you don't like to look at next year, but in case you hadn't heard this is a throwaway season and basically doesn't count for much of anything.

I'm good with not having to break in new safeties next year.

I'd disagree. No season that is being played is a throw away season. If you step on the field, be it little league or the NFL, you're playing to win. I'd argue this season (particularly the 1st part) is more important than ever with other conferences not playing games. We have more of an opportunity to be seen by a broader audience.

Winning brings in better recruits and better recruits accelerate winning. If games are being played, it absolutely matters. Maybe not to some fans, but to coaches, players as well as prospective recruits.

Whether or not this is true, is unbelievably inappropriate to post about someone in our family who just had a season ending injury which surely negatively affected his draft stock (and future income) though we hope it’s not hurt too much

also some NFL team is going to display a disagreement with Hales tweets by drafting Dre in the first 3-4 rounds. I’ll side with the NFL teams

you should consider deleting your post

What? We aren't speaking of bad character or being negative about his attitude. We are talking about his draft stock which is the root of the subject after the possible season ending injury was reported. This is a message board , a place where we have passionate and many intelligent fans speaking about players, coaches, and game schemes. His draft stock and health we all wish the best for. The nuts and bolts of his game and chat is totally fair game.
This isn't the comment section of an obituary. The sensitivity these days is off the charts. Your sensitivity will be well accepted in a political message board/chat. Not here. I love and respect all I get the opportunity to chat with here on this board and ty fellas.this board is full of info and intelligent chats and when you don't agree with my takes, you let me know and that's fine. Regardless. this site is an escape away from the world we currently live in and TY for it.:),

Why is everyone talking like it would be Hanna replacing him? Is LaBrosse's injury that serious?

Losing Cisco would be tough and would count on multiple guys stepping up to replace him, but LaBrosse brings the physicality and was maybe the most touted recruit last cycle.

Benefit of the bye week is giving you a little more time to cross-train someone for downhill running teams if both Cisco and LaBrosse's injuries are serious.
Brings the ridiculously good looks too...

He needs to make sure he is 100% before he comes back. My sense is if he can return he will.

Yup. I think it’s because Hanna led the team in tackles and had a INT. It’s good to know he is capable but labrosse earned the back up spot. I wonder if Coley can fill that role as well?
Im hoping he can. Coley’s another athlete who can make plays happen if he gets the ball in his hands. With him, Trill and Cisco in the back field we have three guys who move like skills players in open space when they get a pick.

Was Coley injured too?

Coley is certainly a stud, but trill might be the best all around player in the secondary. Love our young talent in the db room. Hopefully, iffy stays on his uptrend and is a top 3 round pick. Cant teach that size and athleticism as a db.

Him and Trill are physically blessed, thats for sure. Their potential will be measured at the combine favorably

Wouldn't be surprised if he jumps ship and transfers to a top 10 program. Something just doesn't seem right about this injury.
