Clemson game could be at 8 pm ABC!

As long as we can keep it competitive. A massacre on national tv wouldn't exactly be a good thing.

i'm more worried about an 80% full Carrier Dome then a massacre. I think there is a better chance for that. Now that would be embarrassing.

80% full or less that's pretty much 100%.

At least against Clemson we have a shot.

A homecoming game in prime time on ABC!! We have a great shot at selling out the Dome because as Brent Axe always says Syracuse is an event and the casual sports fans will show up for this game at 8:00 p.m. Between all day tailgates and a packed student section Clemson could be in for a surprise in terms of the noise level inside the dome. First lets beat Tulane today!!!!!

You have got that right. It was a guy from Rochester. What's amazing is when the Syracuse Crunch play in Rochester there are several hundred fans from Syracuse in attendance and these games are played at night in the middle of winter. Yet when the football program has a chance to get a prime time game on ABC the first people to reply to Matt complain about having to drive from Rochester at night. Make it stop!!!! When was the last time ABC wanted to have a Syracuse game on at 8:00 pm???

That would be cool, I could make the game. I was about to offer my tix to a friend because we have an afternoon wedding reception to attend.

I remember watching Syracuse dismantle West Virginia on a Friday night and hearing Rod Gilmore talking about old time Syracuse football being back...lets hope that was the off broadway opening if we get the 8 o'clock slot on national TV. And we have a good opening night on Broadway

Yet there are plenty of people from Rochester who drive the thruway in the dead of winter for a weeknight bball game.

In 2011 (WVU) and 2012 (Louisville) we handily beat a team in the Dome that went on to win a BCS game. Obviously Clemson is going to be very difficult, but the Dome is such a weird/unique place to play for teams not used to it... anything can happen.

Aren't we ~80% sold already? If we win impressively today and get a later KO time we should be fine attendence wise.
 
We need to win today. Otherwise I can't see this happening. A win, with Terrell Hunt shining again, gives them a great story for our side.

8 pm, selfishly, is best case for me. Might even be able to get to the Dome to attend, possibly by kickoff (1% chance on both).
